The manganese content of the above four grades of steel is 11.0% to 14.0%. The manganese content is between 11.0% and 14.0%, and generally should not be lower than 13%. Ultra-high manganese steel has no national standard, but the manganese content should be greater than 18%. The level of silicon is high, and chromium is used to improve wear resistance, generally around 2.0%.
